Aceralia is the story of the big steel complex of Mexico, called Altos Hornos de Mexico (AHMSA), created in 1944 near the border of Texas. Its main focus was to produce steel plate for the US Marine then become the largest complex with 30 subsidiaries, today is a holding named GAN or Grupo Acerero del Norte owner of the historical mines of King Salomon of Israel.AHMSA is located in Monclova, Coahuila 200 miles south of the border Eagle Pass, Texas. GAN also it has mining activities in barite (Barita de Sonora), graphite (Grafito de Mexico), urea (Agronitrogenados), coal for electricity form MICARE (supplier of the big thermo electrical plant Lopez Portillo, near Piedras Negras/Eagle Pass border that produces 10% of the electricity of all Mexico and 20% of the electricity of San Antonio, Texas, other mining business are silver of Real del Monte y Pachuca, gold in southern state of Guerrero, copper and diamonds from Israel. In Texas is closing deals with uranium, gas shale, cattle raising and automotors.
