Didn't read this until my daughter emphatically recommended that I read it. Wonderful if you still have any connection with your angry-at-the-world seventh grade self.

A descriptive and imaginative book about two childhood friends who are split up only to meet again as very different adults. Issues of race and class are examined in this book.

This one made me smile, alot: A little mystery, a little post marital romance, children that make life interesting.... Bad guys that deserved to be hated. You enjoy rooting for the characters. This is not a heavy read. Keep it accessible to brighten days you know there's a long wait at the dentist, doctor, etc.

It was a fantastic book that made me smile, laugh, cry, suspenseful, and satisfied.

Like everything I've read by Harrison, at times so brilliant I couldn't put it down, and at other times so frustratingly obscure that I wondered if he was just being a difficult prick for no reason. In the end, however, I think it was brilliant?

A wonderful layman look at the science and the stories behind the people who have made discoveries.

Robin Hood with a twist. One of the best Kingdom novels (see also On Fortune's Wheel).

One of the best books I have read. A true, caring human being and well worth the time spent reading about her.
